Wrap and run
igLoader can be considered a wrapper implementation, you package your software with our tools and publish ready for use. Depending on the size and
complexity of your software it can take less than 5 minutes to wrap an existing application, publish and have ready for download.

Recoding
In the vast majority of cases it is not necessary to recode any part of your software to work with igLoader. We have constructed our solution in such a
way that it is possible to take virtually any Win32 software and have it work with no modification. Modifications to code are normally required
when you want to take advantage of the igLoader network commandset or handle browser embedding within the application.

Client Security
Integrated into igLoader is an application SandBox, this prevents the software from performing disk
operations outside of it's designated directory and prevents the software creating and launching potentially harmful processes.
The SandBox operates in a similar way to Software Firewall, see the Architecture diagram for more information.

Secure Communications
All communications between igLoader and the license servers are encrypted and secured using SSL. In addition to this the configuration
scripts may also be secured to prevent unauthorised access to information.

Browser Support
igLoader has been tested with and is known to function correctly with the following Win32 browsers : Firefox, Opera, IE (including IE7), Mozilla and Netscape.

Advertising Module
The loading screen is untapped advertising real estate, igLoader enables you to take advantage of this through use of the advertising module.
To serve from your own or 3rd party adservers you must purchase an ad module license.

Shortcut Creation
igLoader can create shortcuts for your software in the Program Menus making navigation to your site and the appropriate web page
as simple as clicking a button. Shortcuts are fully customisable.

Customisation
igLoader can be completely customised to suit your specific branding needs, size, position, loading screens, upgrade screens etc. can all be changed
by using the simple configuration scripts.

Version Control
All archives and streams, with the exception of patch streams, are exposed to the version controller. This means that any changes
made on the server with regard to file versions will be automatically detected and new versions downloaded and installed.

Advanced Streaming
The advanced streaming engine enables content to be downloaded after your application has been launched. For example, a game may require
additional levels and music to be downloaded whilst a player is playing the early levels of the game. igLoader can handle this automatically
through use of the Archive Stream script or this can be controlled directly by your software - your choice. Archive Streams are exposed to the
version controller.

Advanced Patching
As the size of download and complexity of software increases it becomes prohibitive to download an entire application each time a new version or
patch becomes available. igLoader features an advanced patcher that downloads and patches your software automatically ensuring the client machine
is always running the latest version. The patcher can work across multiple install versions and will only download and install the files necessary
to bring the current instance of the application up to date.

Advanced Branding
The post-production branding functions take software branding to another level. Any file or application asset that is exposed to igLoader can be swapped
out for a branded version at load-time. For example, a game may need to have custom graphics based on the sales or distribution channel. Normally a game would
be recompiled for each channel, with the branding functions you can take the existing package and rebrand images, music, sound effects and even 3d models. Branding
streams are also exposed to the version controller.

Scalable architecture
igLoader scales. Through use of the Streaming, patching and branding functions the browser game is changing. No longer does a browser game
have to be less than 5MB in size, they can now span Gigabytes. Titles normally reserved for CD or download only, such as AAA titles, can be downloaded and launched within a matter of minutes rather than days.
igLoader will download, install and launch the files necessary to run the game and stream the additional content as play commences - simple!

Integrated DRM
The integrated DRM (Digital Rights Management) protects your applications from unauthorised copying and launches. igLoader encrypts your .exe files
in such a way that it is not possible to launch the software locally, the software must be launched through igLoader and through the correct
website for it to function. This functionality makes igLoader ideal in situations where games are made available to play through subscription or credit based
websites. It also ensures the client visits your website to play thus increasing customer retention and advertising potentials.
